If you’re reading this page, there's a good chance a bed is stuck in an uncomfortable position, making a strange noise, or refusing to move at all. I know how frustrating it is when your sleep is disrupted, so I wanted to share a little bit about my background and how I handle repairs.
I got my start in this business through my wife's family, who have been in the mattress industry since 1995. Her grandfather, Danny, was a longtime technician for Leggett & Platt. He took me under his wing, showed me the ropes, and taught me how these mechanical and electrical systems work from the inside out. When he passed away in 2018, I took over the work completely. I’ve been running the business solo ever since, helping folks all over the Tampa Bay area get back to getting a good night's sleep.
I'm not a big corporation with a generic call center or a fleet of outsourced contractors. I intentionally chose not to join corporate networks like National Assemblers so that I could run my business on my own terms—prioritizing the customer first, not corporate profits. When you call or text, you're talking directly to me, and I’m the person who shows up at your door. Because it's just me, my reputation relies entirely on how I treat you and your home.
They Don't Make 'Em Like They Used To: A lot of companies will tell you that repairing an older bed frame is a lost cause just to pressure you into buying a brand-new one. In a world of planned obsolescence, I see many people turn to cheap, sub-$600 adjustable bases, only to find out these bases are essentially disposable and unrepairable. That's why I actually love working on older bases—like the classic Tempur-Pedics—because they were built incredibly well. If I can repair your current bed and save you a few thousand dollars versus replacing it, that is a win for both of us.
Leaving Things Better Than I Found Them: I don't believe in just swapping a part and running out the door. I like to take a little extra time to do the job right. That means staying long enough to neatly organize and tie up all the messy power cords under your bed so they don't get tangled or pinched again. I run through a full diagnostic check, provide a clear inspection report, and make sure everything is running completely quiet before I pack up my tools.
If you are a manufacturer looking for an independent technician to handle field service or warranty repairs, I look forward to working with you. Because I was trained directly on Leggett & Platt systems, I speak your language, understand the factory specs, and know how to properly diagnose issues the first time. I treat your customers with the exact same honesty and respect that I give my own local clients.
